Banana Chocolate Milk

The protein and carbohydrates in chocolate milk make it a perfect recovery drink- especially so for kids that can be picky. The addition of a banana to this drink gives it a super punch of potassium and a great milkshake-like consistency.

Make banana chocolate milk as a recovery snack after a sports activity.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbs white sugar or honey
  • 1 ripe banana
Directions:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into two glasses. Serve immediately.

Tips:

Adjust sugar amount to taste or add a splash of vanilla.
Swap the banana for a frozen banana and ice cubes before blending to make this a more frozen drink.
